Frequently asked questions

Do I need to import my wallet?

No. Connect your wallet without importing its seed phrase or main private key. Trading sessions use a separate authorization, which can be saved encrypted on this Mac with Keychain protection.

Can I use more than one wallet?

Yes. Keep multiple wallets in one workspace and switch from the account menu. Each account has its own authorization status; an expired or disconnected session may need to be renewed or reconnected.

How long does trading authorization last?

You choose the duration. The session panel shows when authorization expires and lets you renew it. Once it expires, renew your authorization to continue trading.

What’s the difference between Lock and Revoke?

Lock trading locks the local trading session on this Mac. Unlocking requires Touch ID or your Mac password. Revoke removes the trading authorization on Hyperliquid and requires wallet approval. You’ll need to authorize again to trade.

Will I receive notifications when the app is closed?

No. HyperliquidX receives live events while the app is running. Notifications can appear while you use other apps, depending on your macOS notification permissions and Focus settings.

Can I deposit from another chain?

Yes. The in-app deposit flow supports USDC transfers from supported chains through Circle CCTP. Check the available networks and transfer details in the app before confirming.
